Welcome, welcome, welcome!
The Ifrit is a short story I wrote just a couple years back while living and working in Philadelphia. I had an idea for a book of horror-themed shorts, each to be centered around the main character learning a valuable lesson; a sort of collection of cautionary tales. This is the first tale to come of the idea and so far and it's the only one I've completed. After a couple years and some massive re-writes I am happy to be sharing it with you.
Please note that this story and all stories published here will be done so in serial format. Which means one page (or edition) at a time. Because it's a blog, it will be organizing posts by date, so we'll have the end popping up as the most recent once an entire work is complete. Just keep that in mind and pay attention to the Page #, which I will include in each post's title. This is an experiment so any feedback on how to improve will be greatly appreciated.
